Middle and high school students in the 18 western NC counties encompassed by the Dogwood Health Trust will be offered a FREE Summer Accelerator course!
These programs will be residential and will all be held at NCSSM-Morganton for one week only July 17-22, 2022. If you have questions, please register to attend our virtual Q&A session on April 21, 2022 at 6:30 pm.
You MUST live in one of these 18 counties in the Dogwood health Trust area: Avery, Buncombe, Burke, Cherokee, Clay, Graham, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Macon, Madison, McDowell, Mitchell, Polk, Rutherford, Swain, Transylvania, and Yancey as well as the Qualla Boundary.
Rising 7-9th graders can choose to explore robotics or forensics and rising 10-12th grade students can choose to explore diseases affecting the circulatory and respiratory systems and their relationship to exercise or they can design, build and test their own electric speedboat!
Applications are due by May 1, 2022. Students who are accepted into the program will be notified by May 9, 2022.
