R-S Central High School is proud to announce that Mrs. Josie Thompson has been chosen by her peers to serve as the 2021-2022 Teacher of the Year. She graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, where she earned a BS degree in Biology, with a concentration in Wildlife Management. She is married to Doug, and they have a six-year-old daughter, Hannah, who attends Forrest Hunt Elementary School. Mrs. Thompson has been a valued member of our science department for four years. When asked her thoughts on the recognition, she said, “I am extremely proud to be a Hilltopper!”
